This can take a couple of hours or a whole day depending on the location of the apes.

Keep an eye out for forest species such as buffaloes, elephants, black fronted duikers and bush bucks. NB: Do not forget to carry your packed lunches.

It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young.

Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest and discover their gorgeous natural habitat and the many species they share it with.

You will track from one of the Gorilla groups that will be near your accommodation in Bwindi depending on availability. After a well-earned trip to the gorillas, you will retire to your accommodation for an overnight.

You can rest your tired legs and restorative massage, offered from the gorilla experience.
